Flower Care
A little attention goes a long way.
We work closely with growers to send high-quality stems that are meant to last. These are the care tips we swear by—tried, tested, and designed to help you get the most from your flowers.
If your bouquet includes a mix, just follow the steps for each flower type. All you need is water, scissors, and a clean vase.

HOW TO CARE FOR ROSES
ROSES
Our long-stem roses come from farms in Ecuador and Colombia. Give them a little care once they arrive, and you’ll see them open beautifully over the next few days.
How to care for them:
- Gently remove the outer guard petals. These tougher petals protect the bloom in transit.
- Trim 2 to 3 cm off each stem at an angle and remove any leaves or thorns that would sit below the water line.
- Fill a vase with cold water and add one packet of flower food.
- On day 4, re-trim the stems, change the water, and add the second packet.
- Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

HOW TO CARE FOR SWEETHEART ROSES
SWEETHEART ROSES
These roses are smaller in size, but generous in shape and texture. Let them hydrate for about 8 hours, and they’ll open up beautifully.
How to care for them:
- Remove the outer guard petals.
- Trim 2 to 3 cm off the stems and remove any leaves below the water line.
- Fill your vase with water and add the flower food.
- On day 4, refresh the water, trim again, and add the second packet.
- Keep them in a cool spot out of direct sun.

How to Care for Alstroemeria
Alstroemeria
These long-lasting stems are sourced from both South America and local greenhouses. Once hydrated, they hold their shape well and add lightness to any arrangement.
How to care for them:
- Trim 3 cm off the stems and remove leaves that would sit below the water line.
- Fill your vase with water and add flower food.
- On day 4, re-trim the stems, refresh the water, and use the second packet.
- Keep away from direct sun and heat.

How to Care for Lilies
Lilies
Lilies take their time, and that’s part of what makes them special. As they open over a few days, each bloom brings more shape, scent, and depth to your bouquet.
How to care for them:
- Trim 3 cm off each stem and remove any leaves below the water line.
- Fill a vase with water and add flower food.
- On day 3, re-trim, change the water, and add the second packet.
- Keep them away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts.
